How to use SwiftAlarm! GOLD?

Trigger the alarm

In an emergency, simply tap on the big read SwiftAlarm! button on your smartphone’s display.

If you are using an Android phone, there is nothing else to do.
If you are using an iPhone, you need to confirm sending the alarm manually.

Regular checks

Telephone numbers

Please check regularly that your contacts’ numbers are correct. The text message to your emergency contacts contains your location, so it’s best if they use a smartphone.

To send the emergency text messages and to call one contact, you will need credit on your phone.
Regularly connect your phone to the internet to make sure you’re using the latest version of SwiftAlarm! GOLD.

Make sure that GPS is on. You can change the intervals to check for the GPS signal. We recommend checking every 50 seconds, which usually should be frequent enough. Your emergency contacts will then know exactly enough where to find you.

Make sure that your phone is always charged. If you are using an automatic app cleaning program, please deselect SwiftAlarm! GOLD in the cleaning app’s settings. If your smartphone requires you to input a PIN to unlock it, make sure that the PIN is easy enough so you can remember it in an emergency.

Always carry your smartphone!

SwiftAlarm! GOLD won’t be able to help you if you are not carrying your smartphone or if it is turned off. Make carrying your smartphone around a habit.
